RENE CAOVILLA AT MILANO DESIGN WEEK
During Milan Design Week 2026, Rene Caovilla presents "Art Objects Called Shoes: Rene Caovilla Between Fashion and Art (1960–1979)": a narrative journey through archival designs and vinatge imagery, tracing the Maison's history, from its founding in 1934 to prestigious collaborations — most notably with Valentino — and the creation of the iconic Cleo sandal, showcased at the MoMA in NYC in 1975.
The exhibition will be open to visitors at the boutique on Via Bagutta 28 from April 20 to 26.
Free entrance.
